Navigation
The navigation bar works like a file directory for your project. It gives you an overview of the project structure and helps you find content by hierarchy, whether you are working in the list or on the canvas.
What you can do
The navigation bar sits on the left side of the project. It displays Skills, documents, groups, sequences, resources, and edits in one hierarchy. You can see what the project contains, expand a level, select an item, and open it in the preview area. You can also navigate the project while working on the canvas without switching back to the list.
The navigation bar, list, and canvas show the same project content. Renaming, moving, or deleting an item in the navigation bar also updates the other views.
Use the navigation bar
- Open the navigation bar on the left side of the project.
- Expand a group, sequence, or Skill to see its contents.
- Select an item to view it in the preview area. To change the structure, open the item's action menu.
When the project contains a lot of content, you can also:
- Search project files: Find an item by name.
- Collapse all: Close every expanded level to return to the project overview.
- Pin or collapse the navigation bar: Keep the hierarchy visible when you need it, or collapse the bar to make more room for your work.
Tips
- Use the List to see what has been created in the project and how items are nested.
- Use the Canvas to view, arrange, and work with content in a more flexible space.
- Collapsing a level or the navigation bar only changes what is shown; it does not delete project content.
