Use and Share Skills
Flova.ai is the world's first Skill community for a video creation Agent.
What a Skill is
A Skill gives the Agent reusable professional knowledge, workflow steps, review criteria, templates, and references. It describes how this kind of video should be made so a proven method can be used again in later projects.
Prompt, AGENTS.md, and Skill serve different purposes:
- Prompt: tells the Agent what to do in the current task.
AGENTS.md: records durable collaboration rules for the current project.- Skill: stores a reusable method or workflow that can be used across projects.
What you can do
- Browse Featured Skills or search by creative direction.
- Review a Skill's purpose, author, required inputs, and references.
- Save a Skill to My Skills.
- Select a Skill manually for the current task or let the Agent choose from default Skills.
- Review Historical Usage to find a Skill you used before.
- Share an owned Skill with a link or share code.
Find and save a Skill
- Open the Skill community from the Flova home page.
- Browse Featured Skills or search for the current creative direction.
- Open a Skill and check its use case, required inputs, and fit for the current goal.
- Select Save to My Skills or Add to My Skills so it is available from Mine.
The Skill community has two tabs: Featured and Mine. Featured holds the public Skills you can browse directly, grouped by creative direction so you can find one for the task at hand. Saving a Skill adds it to Mine; it does not modify the author's original Skill.
Use a Skill
Use Skill
Select Use Skill on a Skill detail page. Flova carries the Skill into a creation entry. Add the goal for this task and any necessary script, character image, or other project material.
Select a Skill in a project
- Open the Skill picker in the Agent input on the right side of the project.
- Find a Skill under Default Invocation or in a Featured category and select it to add it to the current input.
- Add the goal, constraints, and required material for this project, then send the task.
Find and manage Skills in Mine
Mine can be filtered by:
- All: Every Skill you have saved or created.
- Created by me: Skills you created yourself.
- Historical usage: Skills you have actively used, so you can find them again. Appearing here does not mean a Skill is still set to default invocation.
- Drafts: Skills you are still writing. They are not available to the Agent.
Each completed Skill also has one of two invocation states:
- Default Invocation: When no Skill is selected manually, the Agent looks for a suitable item among enabled default Skills.
- Not Default: The Skill remains in Mine but does not participate in automatic selection. You can still select it manually.
Share your Skill
- Find an owned Skill in Mine. Open Share from its context menu or the bottom of its detail page.
- Select Generate share link, then copy the link or share code and send it to the recipient.
- The recipient sees a Skill preview that identifies the author. They can save a copy to My Skills or select Use Skill to start creating.
To stop sharing, select Revoke sharing in the share dialog and confirm. The old link and share code stop working. Copies saved before revocation remain available and cannot directly modify your original Skill.
Tips
- Keep one Skill focused on one stable workflow. Covering too many unrelated scenarios makes execution harder to choose.
- Put one-time tasks in the Prompt, durable project rules in
AGENTS.md, and methods reused across projects in a Skill.
Related features
- Create and Manage Skills: turn your own creative method into a Skill.
- Documents: distinguish ordinary project documents,
AGENTS.md, and Skills. - Generate media with the Agent: use Skills with project material during generation.
