Sandbox
Give the Agent advanced capabilities for deep research, long documents, motion graphics, and 3D content creation.
What is the sandbox?
The sandbox is an independent cloud environment where the Agent carries out tasks. It can open web pages, read files, run programs, and process media, then return results in chat or save them to the project. Describe what you need; you do not have to write code or operate the tools yourself.
What you can do
Create motion graphics
Use Remotion and HyperFrames to create animated text, charts, and product demo videos. Provide images, video, and audio, and specify the content, duration, and aspect ratio for the Agent to assemble.
Use Remotion to create a 12-second, 16:9 motion graphic explaining three steps from idea to video. Use an off-white background, navy text, and teal accents. At 0–3s show “Turn ideas into video”; at 3–8s slide in three cards, “Describe your idea”, “Generate media”, and “Assemble your video”, connected by lines; at 8–12s merge the cards into a video player and show “Start creating”. Emphasize one step at a time, with readable text, smooth transitions, and no narration. Deliver an MP4.Use HyperFrames to create a 10-second, 16:9 data animation with a dark background and three teal bars. At 0–2s show “Quarterly orders”; at 2–7s grow the bars from zero, with Q1, Q2, Q3 counters reaching 100, 180, 260; at 7–10s hold the complete chart and subtly emphasize Q3. Keep “Demo data” visible at the bottom. No narration or extra images. Deliver an MP4.Create 3D content
Use Blender to create 3D models, set materials, lighting, and cameras, and create and render 3D animations.
Use Blender to make a 5-second action previs video. Build a simple humanoid from basic geometric shapes on a gray floor. Slowly raise its right arm from its side to shoulder height, then lower it. Use a fixed front camera, solid-color materials, and simple lighting. No realistic detail, textures, physics simulation, or complex background. Deliver a 640×360, 12 fps MP4 that clearly shows the movement.Research and organize information
Provide public web links or a research topic. The Agent can read multiple sources, compare information, and produce a report with source links.
I am making an e-commerce short video for a portable coffee maker. Find public official pages for three similar products and compare their usage scenarios, selling-point wording, and visual presentation. Collect public reference links for the video. Save a project document with a comparison table, source links, and three possible video angles. Separate sourced facts from creative suggestions, mark unavailable information as unconfirmed, and do not invent specifications.Read long documents
Supports novels exceeding one million characters. Upload a novel, script, or other reference to extract character relationships, outline plot events, or compare settings across documents.
Read this novel and organize the main characters, their relationships, and key plot events. Include the corresponding chapters so I can check the original text.Analyze and process media
Analyze shots and editing rhythm, transcribe speech, or process existing images, video, and audio. Common tasks include background removal, resizing, trimming video, format conversion, and audio extraction.
Analyze the ad video I uploaded. For each shot, record start and end times, shot size, camera movement, product placement, and how text and sound work together. Explain the opening hook, how selling points develop, and the final call to action. Create a shot-analysis document with timecodes and three filming or editing techniques I could adapt for my product video, without directly copying the original. How to use it
The sandbox is available only to subscribers and is enabled by default for them.
- Open a project and describe what you need to the Agent.
- Specify the result you want, such as a research document, a processed image, or a video.
- Chat displays the sandbox processing status. Review the returned result, then request any changes.
To change the setting, open your account menu and find Sandbox (Beta) under General Settings → Labs.
Tips
- State the task and delivery requirements together. Say explicitly when a result should be saved to the project.
- For long documents, specify the reading scope and details to preserve; ask for chapters or sources when you need to check the original.
- For videos, specify the duration, aspect ratio, and media to use.
- Check research sources. Transcription, text recognition, and video analysis can contain errors.
Limitations
- The sandbox is available only to subscribers and is enabled by default for them.
- Complex tasks usually take longer.
- Web access depends on site permissions and access conditions. The Agent may not be able to read content behind a login or paywall.
