Quick Generation
When you already know what to create, write the Prompt and choose the references, model, and generation settings yourself.
What you can do
Quick Generation creates images, videos, audio, or music directly in a project without asking the Agent to plan first. Use it when the goal, references, and generation method are already clear enough to configure this generation yourself.
If the goal needs to be broken down, related project content needs to be found, or several pieces of media must be processed, use Generate media with the Agent instead.
How to use it
- Open the Quick Generation panel:
- In List: Select + in the upper-right corner of Project files, then choose Generate Media and a media type.
- On Canvas: Right-click an empty area, then choose Generate Media and a media type.
- In Navigation: Right-click the target location, then choose Generate Media and a media type.
- On a Group or Sequence: Right-click the target Group or Sequence and choose Generate Media and a media type. The result enters the current structure.
- At an empty generation position: Select Generate on the card. The panel keeps that position's media type.
- From an existing image: Right-click the image and select Generate Using as Reference.
- Choose image, video, audio, or music. When the panel opens from an existing position, it uses that position's type.
- Drag project media into the reference area or select Reference to add it. Leave the area empty when no reference is needed.
- Describe what you want in the Prompt area.
- Choose a model and complete the settings it provides.
- Review the inputs and submit. Open the resulting Asset when generation finishes.
You do not need to create an empty Asset before opening Quick Generation.
Settings by media type
- Image: Enter a Prompt and choose an image model, aspect ratio, resolution, and supported reference mode.
- Video: Enter a Prompt and choose a video model, aspect ratio, duration, and supported first-frame, last-frame, image, video, or audio references.
- Audio and music: Complete the text or creative requirements and the settings shown by the current model.
Available references and parameters vary by media type and model. Use the options displayed in the current panel.
Tips
- For a character shot, describe the character, action, setting, and camera feel, then add an existing character image as a reference.
- References constrain the result, but the Prompt must still describe what to create this time.
- Recheck references and parameters after changing models because different models may support different settings.
