Flova MCP

Flova MCP lets external Agents in MCP-compatible clients use Flova, so you can start creating wherever you work.

What you can do

An external Agent can use Flova MCP to:

  • Create a project or read an existing project's storyboard, documents, media, and conversation history.
  • Upload creative material, give tasks to the Flova Agent, and inspect progress.
  • Return questions or confirmation requests to you.
  • Browse community and personal Skills and select one for the current project.
  • Start exports, inspect results, or download project media.
  • Branch or restore project history when you explicitly request it.

Connect Flova MCP

  1. Open the connector or MCP server settings in an MCP-compatible client.
  2. Find and add Flova. If the client requires manual configuration, enter the connection information provided by Flova.
  3. On the first call, sign in to Flova and authorize access in the account page that opens.
  4. Return to the client, identify a new or existing project, and describe the task.

Entry names vary by client, so follow the current interface of the client you use.

Move a project forward

  1. Ask the Agent to create a project or identify an existing one.
  2. Ask it to read the project description, storyboard, media, and generation state first.
  3. Describe the next task and identify which generation, spending, or deletion actions require confirmation.
  4. Review the progress and results returned by the Agent and inspect actual output at important milestones.

Choose between CLI and MCP

  • Flova CLI: Designed for Agents that can run local commands. It supports a more complete project workflow, including creating and managing Skills.
  • Flova MCP: Works with any MCP-compatible client and offers a flexible way to read and operate on Flova projects.

Prefer CLI for local folders, complete Skill packages, or continuous local workflows. Use MCP when you mainly want Flova project capabilities inside an existing MCP client.

Tips

  • Before continuing an existing project, ask the Agent to read its current state.
  • Before generation or export, ask what will run, what it may cost, and how long it may take.
  • Reference material already in the project. Upload new local files through the method supported by the client.

Usage limitations

  • MCP is not currently the entry point for creating or fully editing Flova Skills. Use the Skill page, a project workflow, or Flova CLI.
  • Generation, export, membership, credits, and concurrency still follow Flova product rules.
  • Flova CLI: connect through an Agent that can run local commands and create or maintain Skills.
  • Use and Share Skills: choose a professional creation method for a project.
  • Permission Mode: control when the Flova Agent asks before acting.
