Flova CLI
Flova CLI lets external Agents that can run local commands use Flova, so you can start creating wherever you work.
What you can do
CLI connects to the complete project system, not a standalone image or video generation endpoint. Projects created or continued through CLI still open in Flova on the web, with documents, media, conversations, and edits kept together.
An external Agent can use CLI to:
- Create a project or read and continue an existing one.
- Upload local scripts, images, videos, and audio.
- Give tasks to the Flova Agent and inspect progress and results.
- Return questions or confirmation requests to you.
- Find, use, create, and update Flova Skills.
- Review and export final videos or project media.
- Inspect available history points and branch or restore a project when you explicitly request it.
See Flova CLI for the product overview.
Install and connect
- Send the following message to an Agent that can run local commands and load Skills:
Help me install Flova CLI: https://cli.flova.ai/flovaCLI-setup.md- The Agent reads the installation instructions and guides you through setup.
- On the first connection, the Agent opens a browser. Sign in and authorize your Flova account there.
- After authorization, tell the Agent what to create, where the existing material is, and which steps require your approval first.
Use Flova to create a 30-second product video. Read the script and reference images in this folder first, prepare a storyboard for my approval, and only then start generation.Continue an existing project
Give the Agent the project name or link and identify what has already been approved. Ask it to read the current project state before continuing. You can inspect the final result in Flova on the web or ask the Agent to return available final-video or media links.
Tips
- State the media path, duration, aspect ratio, and approval points when starting the task.
- Ask the Agent to read the current state before continuing an existing project.
- For generation or export tasks that take time, ask for actual progress and require the Agent to pause at decisions that need you.
- Results also depend on the external Agent's understanding, planning, and local-operation capabilities. Review important storyboards, generated results, and exported files yourself.
Usage limitations
- CLI requires an Agent environment that can run local commands and load Skills.
- Generation, export, membership, credits, and concurrency still follow Flova product rules.
- The Agent should branch or restore project history only when you explicitly request it.
