Permission Modes
Use permission modes to decide when the Agent must ask before generating, deleting, or running other actions.
What you can do
Permission modes control confirmation timing in a project. Choose a preset or define custom review rules for your workflow.
Three presets are available:
- Run directly: Supported actions run without asking each time. Flova asks you to confirm when you switch to this mode.
- Ask when necessary: Ask before large credit costs, high-cost cards, or cascading deletion.
- Ask before generation: Ask before every generation or cascading deletion.
Set the current project
- Open a project and select the current permission mode at the bottom of the chat input, such as Ask when necessary.
- Review the modes and select the one that fits this project.
- If you choose Run directly, confirm the switch.
Only the project owner can change its permission mode.
Set custom rules
- Open your avatar menu in the top-right and go to Settings → General → Agent settings.
- Choose which actions should ask and which can be allowed.
- Save the rules, return to the project, and select Custom from the permission-mode menu.
Configurable cases include the first use of a new or changed Prompt, video generation, every generation, large credit costs, high-cost cards, and cascading deletion. If Custom says it will be available after setup, select it to open the settings page directly.
The same settings page also defines the default mode for new projects; existing projects keep their own setting.
Tips
- To let the Agent continue with fewer pauses, choose Run directly.
- To review the cost or direction before every generation, choose Ask before generation.
- Saving custom rules does not activate them for the current project until you select Custom in that project.
Usage limitations
- Permission modes only control when the Agent asks. They do not bypass subscription, credit, or concurrency rules.
- One confirmation applies to the current pending action, not every future action.
Related features
- Multiple conversations: separate discussions by task.
- Generate media with the Agent: understand how the Agent plans and runs generation.
