Download & Export
After finishing a video or organizing media, you can export the final video, download media, or package the project as an editing project file for further polishing in other editing software.
Export Video
Export Video exports the current state of the project's timeline as a video file. This is the most common way to create the final finished video.
- Entry point: project page top-right Export button -> Export Video.
- Download: after submitting, you can continue working in Flova. The download starts automatically when the export is ready.
- Failure and retry: if the export fails, you can start it again from the page prompt.
PR File
If you want to continue polishing a Flova project in Premiere Pro, Jianying, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro, use PR File. The system generates one project package that includes editing project files and all media used by the project.
- Entry point: project page top-right Export button -> PR File.
- Premiere Pro: the package includes a project file compatible with Premiere Pro. After importing it, you can restore the timeline and clip relationships.
- Final Cut Pro: if you are using macOS, the package includes a project file that can be opened by Final Cut Pro.
- Jianying / CapCut: the system chooses the draft type based on your region. Users in mainland China usually receive a Jianying draft, while users in other regions usually receive a CapCut draft. Import it into the corresponding app to continue editing.
- How to use it: after downloading, unzip the package and open the corresponding project file in your target editing software, or place the draft files into the draft directory of the corresponding app before launching it.
Download All Files
Download All Files packages the images, videos, audio, music, and other original media used by the current project into one ZIP file. It is useful for archiving or continuing work in other tools.
- Entry point: project page top-right Export button -> Download All Files.
- Download: after submitting, you can continue working in Flova. The download starts automatically when the export is ready.
- Failure and retry: if the export fails, you can start it again from the page prompt.
Download Media
You can also download specific media or assets from the storyboard or Media Files Panel.
- Single download: move your mouse over a media item and click the download icon, or choose Download from the right-click menu. Single media downloads usually start directly in the browser.
- Download an asset: move your mouse to the handle in the bar below an asset, open the menu, and choose Download all to download all media in that asset.
- Batch download: select multiple media items in the Media Files Panel or storyboard area, then choose Download from the right-click menu or Preview area.
- Supported media: only successfully generated images, videos, audio, or music can be downloaded. Media that is still generating or failed to generate cannot be downloaded.
Capture Frame
In the timeline preview area, you can export the frame at the current playhead position as an image. This is useful for screenshots or cover images.
- Entry point: Capture Frame button in the timeline preview area.
- Download: click the button to get an image of the current frame.
Watermark Rules
Watermarks mainly affect two types of content: exported final videos, and downloaded video or image media.
- Subscribers: exported videos and downloaded media are usually watermark-free.
- Non-subscribed users: exported final videos include a Flova watermark. Downloaded video or image media uses watermarked versions.
- Batch download prompt: if a batch download includes videos or images, the interface may first show an upgrade prompt. You can continue downloading with watermarks, or upgrade your subscription.
- Audio and music: audio and music media is not affected by watermarks.
After upgrading your subscription, exports or downloads started afterward use the watermark-free version according to your current membership benefits.
